Created for the Distiller’s One of One Auction 2025, the Laphroaig Capsule is a sculptural piece that houses a blend of 1980 and 1981 vintages of one of Scotland’s most distinctive whisky brands. A nod to Laphroaig’s bold character reinterpreted as a collectable object.
Crafted from copper, aluminium, and brass with a platinum plate finish, the piece combines multiple metals and finishing techniques to create contrast between warm base materials and a cool, luxe platinum surface, resulting in a one-of-one object built to auction standard.
