Closures and embellishments, made to your exact requirements.

All our work is bespoke. We make closures and embellishments for spirits at every level of ambition, from clean production runs to one-off pieces in precious metal. Whatever the brief, the approach is the same: get the detail right, and make something the brand can be proud of.

CLOSURES.

Every closure begins with cork, the seal that goes into the neck of the bottle. It is what matters most for performance, and where our experience and our relationships with the finest cork producers come in, across every grade from natural to micro-agglomerated and synthetic.

Above it sits the bartop, or stopper, where the character lives: wood, metal, precious metal, or a combination, finished with engraving, printing, plating, embossing, or hand-applied detailing. Understated or striking, we will help you decide what is right for the bottle.

EMBELLISHMENTS.

Embellishments are the details that lift a bottle beyond the standard, and they need not sit on the closure: a crest on the shoulder, a band around the neck, a medallion or a cage around the bottle itself. This is where the finest craft comes in, from precious metals to engraving, enamelling, and setting. For a flagship release, it can become the thing people remember, and the reason they keep the bottle long after it is empty.

A NOTE ON MATERIALS.

Choosing the right materials is part of the service. We advise on what will perform, what suits the brand and the liquid, and what fits the budget, and we will tell you honestly when a material that looks right will not behave in production.
